# 2 - How we present the news is unique.

What we offer is unique in the media area and other areas as well. This is how we are setting ourselves apart from the typical media material.

Most media sources (T.V., Radio and Print) choose what they offer so they can generate high ratings, which impacts what they can charge their advertisers. They usually do not provide much depth and in most cases there is little or no follow-up unless there is some kind of new fact or emotional twist to the story.

By comparison we offer fewer stories. We cover them with more depth and we select them based on the impact we foresee on the future lives of our members. Our desire is to encourage critical thinking which requires us to present facts and then let you, our members, come to your own conclusions about what to believe on any particular subject. You might find this uncomfortable at first, but once you get used to the process of thinking for yourself, instead of us telling you what you should think, we suspect you will respect and appreciate our UNIQUE DIFFERENCE.

You will also find us covering subjects not found on most of the media sources. Follow our Blog additions going forward; we will be frequently updating Blog Posts as well as adding new ones.
